Pomahaka has won the event twice. He is by Rainbow Appache Two (Kingy).

Kingys Great Grand daughter Sukowa, placed third in the event the following year.

Makarora placed first, with Surprise second in 2001. Both jumped from 1.20m to 1.60m, the wall was 1.60. The placings were decided on time as both the Rainbow horses were the only ones left in the third round.

Zardos also proved recently that age is no barrier with his new rider Katie Meredith. They went to the Horse of the Year show and were second in the 1.05 Championship, there were one hundred ponies in the event.

They also won the two bar challenge at Amberly A&P show, one jump was 1.30m high, with a spread of 1.20 not bad for an elderly gent.
